Well hello and welcome back in case you haven't checked in for a while.  I have checked out, and just today decided to check back in.  I may have decided to start drawing again, so hopefully I can find someone who will be willing to color a few of my lines.  I may have also decided to get back to photography, so I will be looking for a few new ideas perspective-wise.  I'm not planning on taking any trips until August, so I probably won't have much in the way of photography until then.  But you never know.  I've got a greenhouse full of exotic plants.  I just may decide to let you in on them.

Hey there- I just got back from a short trip to the Baja California Sur region of Mexico.  It wasn't really a photography trip, since most of it was spent in Cabo San Lucas... need I say more.  But, I did get some good pictures, which I will post to my DA gallery soon.  I am currently in the market for a lens cleaning kit also.  Saltwater does NOT go well with a camera lens.  If anybody has any suggestions for good quality but not too expensive cleaning kits, please feel free to let me know! I'm looking to put together another trip to some far-off land where I can photograph beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife, and maybe some interesting

Not so long ago:   What happened to the days when you could find a good picture without having to scour the internet through thousands of irrelevant pieces of clipart?  What ever happened to a nice easy to use 35 mm camera, where everything was manual?  You didn't have to flip through setting after setting, guessing what acronyms and abbreviations meant.  You had to do a little reading, sure, but who wouldn't like to read about their new camera anyway?  No automatic setting made for a little bit of difficulty, but it sure made for a great photograph.  Now these coolpixes, easyshares, A550s and photosmarts make taking pictures a chore.  Unle
